Wide Diameter Drilling Range
Wide-diameter drilling is used for deep foundation piling, large water or geothermal wells, mining blast holes, and trenchless installation of large utility pipelines. If your project requires wide-diameter drilling, our drilling rig 44, the Gardner Denver 2000, could be the perfect fit.
Significant Depth Capacity
If your project requires oil and gas extraction or drilling deep boreholes to vent methane from mines, you’ll need a rig capable of drilling to significant depths. Our drilling rigs 33 or 34 can handle significant depths of up to 1500 ft., while rig 44 can handle depths of up to 2500 ft.
High Torque and Crowd Force
High torque provides the rotational power to drive bits through tough material, while high crowd force ensures the necessary downward pressure for effective penetration. These features are helpful when drilling in confined areas because it allows the rig to manage difficult ground conditions without excessive vibration or machine instability.
Because the Gardner Denver 2000 is a more heavy-duty rig than the Ardco C-1000 or Georex HP-5, it typically offers the highest torque and lifting capacity. You’ll need these features when creating deep foundations for massive structures, drilling deep pier foundations, or using them for subway construction or dam improvements.
